With the help of the program for infrastructure development ORIO, under the patronage of the Dutch government, Macedonia will try to exceed the gaps in several sectors.

The main priorities are the living environment, water and public sector including education and healthcare.
Macedonia, along with 50 dozen developing countries that have established partnership with the Netherlands, can use the grants from this program. For this year, the amount is €180 million.
For Macedonia, the separated amount is 35% or €63 million.
The maximal amount of a grant may €60 million, and the minimum €2 million.
