| The second rebalance of the budget approved |

After three days of debate, yesterday the Macedonian Parliament voted the rebalance of the budget for 2009.Both incomes and expenditures were reduced by 3.2 percent. According to the rebalance, the revenues are projected to 138.459 billion denars, while spending are expected to reach 149.5 billion denars.
The deficit remains within the previously set boundaries with some reduction of around 300 million denars. The budget deficit will amount 2.8 percent of GDP. With these recent changes, GDP for this year is expected to drop by 0.6 percent. The inflation at the end of the year will be 0.1 per cent.
