Croatia will invest €30 million for promoting tourism in 2010, two million more compared to 2009 due to expectations that next year could be very difficult.
Croatian Tourism Minister, Damir Bajs, explained that the difficulties are expected due to general economic movements, but also because tourism measures of other countries certainly are larger than these are.
Despite increased investments, the Croats will continue with joint public and private sector advertising and will work to introduce an additional model for air routes and bus tour operators.
