Bulgaria plans for the next four years to build three highways, said Bulgarian Minister for Infrastructure Rosen Plevneljev.
The new government inherited neglected infrastructure as a result of long practice of corruption, political disputes and mismanagement, and now plans to reduce administration and elections to the European Union myth not to block the amount of 1.7 billion euros allocated for roads and Regional Development until 2013.
The Minister added that measures to increase transparency and suspension of political interference in public procurement will provide 900 million European Union assistance for construction of 200 km of highways to three locations in 2013.
