Salaries and prices in August in Montenegro continued to increase and industrial production to decline, the Statistical Institute reports.

The average net salary in August totalled 461 euro, which is by 0.9% percent more compared to July. Given that the prices on a monthly basis grew 1.1 percent, the actual income for August was 0.2 percent lower, the report said.

Industrial production in the first eight months dropped 27.4 percent, compared with the same period last year, while production was 9.6 percent lower compared to July.
