The number of poor in the second quarter has grown by about 0.2%.

Statistical data show that the number of unemployed, poor citizens and the number of those who use national cuisine in Serbia, amid the economic crisis and the difficult material situation has increased since the beginning of this year.
Preliminary data of the State Statistical Bureau for the first six months this year show that in Serbia less than 700,000 (9.2%) of citizens live below the poverty line or have a monthly income lower than 8360 dinars.
