| Croatia's external debt grew by additional €1.5 billion |

In the first half this year, Croatia's gross external debt increased by €1.5 billion to €40.8 billion.This is a result of the increased debt of the private sector and banks, while the debt of the country remained almost unchanged. The increase of the debt from 3.7% in the first half of this year was significantly lower compared to the same period last year, when it was 6.5%.
