The crisis has destroyed every tenth job position.

During last year, Croatia lost 48,000 jobs, but economists estimate that by spring of 2010 the number of unemployed could reach 300,000.
By the end of this year, analysts at the Croatian Institute for Employment expect a total 290,000 people to their lists of unemployed.
