Bulgaria to introduce the euro in 2013

flagbg.gifEconomic analyst, Georgi Angelov said that Bulgaria it is not economic burden for the euro area.
Bulgaria in January 2010 will apply for approval to entry in the monetary mechanism ERM 2, in order by 2013 to replace the local currency with the euro, the Bulgarian media are reporting.
The economic analyst, Georgi Angelov claimed that Bulgaria is not an economic burden for the euro area because it a small country that has managed to defeat the financial crisis. He added that Bulgaria managed not to fall into liquidity problems and than seek help from the International Monetary Fund.
According to him, Bulgaria’s big problem is not the economic criteria, but the fact that it fails to negotiate with the European institutions that have power to freeze the European funding and always criticize the non-functional judiciary system, corruption and organized crime.
