According to the New York Times.Albania is a potential country for investment, regardless of its turbulent past and still unfavourable infrastructure. This was reported in an article published in "International Herald Tribune" and "The New York Times", which makes lengthy analysis of the Albanian economy and the efforts of the new owners to achieve success.
However, despite all, the transformation of Albania is not so easy. It remains among the third world countries, the economy is so poorly developed, which is confirmed by the fact that imported products are sugar and milk. Transparency International includes Albania among the ten most corrupt countries in the world, while according to Amnesty International, 18 percent of its population lives below the minimum poverty, which is two dollars per day.
