The market value of the shares of 970 Croatian companies in may increased by 9% to 223.7 billion kuna (30.63 billion euro).

Since the beginning of this year, the market capitalization of the companies’ shares in the register of deposit assemblies increased by 6%.

The market value of all 1.104 shares at the end of last month reached 278 billion kuna (38 billion euro) or 7% more than at the end of April and 5% more than last year.

At the end of May reached 898.42 billion dinars (9.48 billion euro) compared to the 916.59 billion dinars (10.34 billion euro) at the end of 2008.
