The American postal service company, FedEx is planning to increase the prices of the services next year by 5.9%, after this year's profit drop, according to BBC.

The net profit of the group reached 181 million dollars this August, which is a drop of 53% on a yearly level.

The company is planning to compensate the loss by increasing the express delivery tax by 5.9% this January.

FedEx and United Parcel Service are considered to be important indicators of the situation in the American economy.
