plane_taking_off.jpgEuropean Airbus and U.S. Boeing, the world's two biggest producers of aircraft, this year will produce a record number of aircrafts despite the global recession and the decreased demand for air transport.

Airbus and Boeing will produce at least 970 new aircrafts this year and will surpass the former record  of 914 planes made in 1999. The increase was achieved primarily because of the dominant growth rate of Airbus.
