 The International Telecommunications Union reports that by the end of the year the number of mobile phone users should reach 4.6 billion, which means that 67% of the world's population will be in the network. The report further says that mobile phones occupy second place among most profitable technologies for personal usage, behind the TV with 4.9 billion consumers, but long before computers with 1.9 billion consumers.
