| Fiat reports sales increase in Europe |

The company managed to enlarge its stake in the European market to 8.8%The Italian group, Fiat reported increased sales for the third quarter on the European market and restored the fall of truck and heavy equipment delivery.
In the second quarter Fiat announced operative profit of 158 million euro, but also noted net lost of 179 million euro because of the taxes and investments and financial services. Thanks to the good sale of their its brands: Fiat, Lancia and Alfa Romeo, the company managed to raise its stake in the European market of new vehicles up to 8,8 percent, unlike the 8 percent in the first three quarters in 2008.
