The credit amount is 50 million euro.

The European Bank for Reconstruction and Development said it is considering the possibility to lend €50 million to Ukraine in order to facilitate the implementation of projects for direct financing of the development of renewable energy sources.

According to documents of the EBRD, all Ukrainian companies from any sector of the renewable energy sources - hydropower, solar, wind energy or bio-fuels can apply for the loan.
According to data from October 1, the EBRD has committed to provide $4.5 billion to Ukraine, within the 189 projects.
