The fourth largest Asian economy, which develops thanks to the heavy industry emissions, wants to launch a green step.
The purpose of this policy is to reduce South Korea's dependence on fossil fuels, encouraging the development of alternative energy sources such as solar energy and wind energy, and introduction of technologies that will contribute to the growth of energy efficiency.
South Korean green plan will help the economy to reduce dependence on imports of oil and gas, which represent a third of the total imports of this country.
