 Value added tax (VAT) in Switzerland from the current 7.6% will grow to 8%.The funds that will be collected of this basis will be used to cover the state budget minus for insurance of persons with special needs.
The new VAT rate will be applied from January 1st 2011 and will be valid until the end of 2017.
