The global economic crisis is still present in some of the new market economies in Eastern Europe and Central Asia, the World Bank warned today.Europe will continue to feel the effects of the global economic and financial crisis long after 2010 because of slow recovery and high unemployment, forecasts IMF. The director of the European Department of IMF, Marek Belka, claims that Europe cannot rely that only exports will be a factor for recovery. There is a lack of credits, unemployment is growing, and the potential crisis ruins Europe's economic growth, said Belka at a press conference in Istanbul. IMF forecasted that the highly developed European countries will achieve growth of 0.5% in 2010 after the fall by 4% this year.
