United States, which until now held the leading position among the 55 strongest financial centres in the world fell to third place, behind runner-Australia, reports The Daily Telegraph.Analysts believe this rating will stimulate further debate over whether London or New York is the best place for the business financial organizations, given recent reports that many hedge funds are moving to New York because of the more flexible regulations. Britain positioned on top despite the obvious problems in the past 12 months with the financial services sector. Among the biggest losers on the list are France and Germany.
