| Iceland repays its debt |

 The government of Iceland agreed with the governments of Britain and the Netherlands to return its bank debt.By 2024 Iceland needs to return a total of €3.8 billion debt to Great Britain and the Netherlands.
The amount of the debt represents two-thirds of the total state budget of Iceland.
