The U.S. dollar reinforced against major currencies after a sequence of recent declines.

One dollar was buying 94.90 yen while one euro was buying $1.4318. The British pound fell to $1.6472, down from $1.6504 Friday.
Australian and New Zealand currencies climbed against the dollar. One Aussie was buying 0.8377 dollars while the Kiwi was buying $0.6855 dollars.
